IN THE HOUSE, directed by husband-and-wife stylists MASAH and Imajuku Asami, will release their Fall/Winter 2019 collection at the Isetan Shinjuku store, online store, and the brand's official online store from August 21st.
The brand began in 2016 as a limited-time shop called "THE POOL" in Aoyama, and relaunched in 2018 at the Isetan Shinjuku store as an in-house brand developed by Mitsukoshi Isetan. From Fall/Winter 2019, it will be transferred to Star Joinus Co., Ltd. and will begin operation.
The brand's main target is families with children in their 30s and 40s who have experience in street fashion and are invested in both fashion and leisure. With the brand's items, parents whose fashion sensibilities remain constant even as their lifestyles change dramatically after having children can complete a "family style" simply by incorporating them into their own and their children's fashion.
The brand overturns the traditional "children's clothing" genre, which has traditionally been worn only by children, and instead proposes a style for adults that is "easy in a good way," with an expanded range of categories and lineup. New women's and girls' lines have also been added.
The price range is as follows: boys' (unisex) cut and sew tops from 4,000 to 6,000 yen, sweat tops from 7,000 to 8,000 yen, pants from 7,000 to 8,000 yen, and outerwear from 9,800 to 14,000 yen. Girls' cut and sew dresses from 5,000 to 6,000 yen, tunics from 5,000 yen, and sweat dresses from 8,000 yen. Babies' cut and sew tops from 3,500 to 4,000 yen, sweat tops from 6,000 yen, pants from 6,000 yen, rompers from 4,800 yen, and bibs from 2,500 yen.
For men (unisex), cut and sew items will be priced from 5,000 to 6,000 yen, and sweat tops from 8,000 to 10,000 yen, while for women, cut and sew dresses will be priced at 8,000 yen, and tunics will be priced at 6,000 yen.
