Isetan Shinjuku's watch shop reopened on June 19th on the 5th floor of the main building after a revamp.

The watch shop, which has been relocated from the 4th floor of the main building and the men's building to a new location on the west side of the 5th floor, is based on the theme of "changing what you can buy," eliminating the image of luxury and accessibility, aiming to create an environment where people can casually experience watches while expressing the brand's worldview.
The interior décor is based on a cordon yard theme, featuring ivory marble, silver tiles, and natural wood, creating an open space with a bright color scheme. Eleven brand boutiques line both sides of the wall, and round showcases are installed along pillars in the center of the aisle. The strength of this store is its hybrid style, where customers can freely wander around the store and compare watches from around 70 different brands while fully experiencing the unique worldview of each brand.

Of these, the most notable are the opening of Japan's first directly operated department store boutiques for Breguet, Hublot, Panerai, and Vacheron Constantin. In addition, seven other brands, including the existing brands A. Lange & Söhne, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and OMEGA, will be operating as direct-operated boutiques, offering exclusive limited edition models and new releases for the first time.

Other brands that are always available include IWC, Edox, Erwin Sattler, Oris, Cartier, Campanola, Grand Seiko, Credor, Shellman, Citizen, Girard-Perregaux, Sinn, Zenith, Tag Heuer, Tudor, Tissot, Nomos, Patek Philippe, Hamilton, Parmigiani Fleurier, Breitling, and Franck. The store boasts what could be described as the strongest selection of any department store in Japan, including brands such as Muller, Blancpain, Frederique Constant, Bell & Ross, Baume & Mercier, Michel Herbelin, Minase, Maurice Lacroix, Moritz Grossmann, Junghans, Rado, Raymond Weil, Ressence, L'Epée, Laurent Ferrier, Rolex, and Longines.
A 2.6-meter-tall hall clock by Munich-based clockmaker Erwin Sattler, Germany, has been installed at the entrance as the store's symbol (it is also available for sale). It quietly ticks away the time while emanating a presence that makes it a landmark for meetings.
