Ahead of the yukata season, the Kimono section on the 7th floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building is offering an expanded selection of yukatas under the title "Makeover Isetan Yukata Selection 2019."
The "Isetan Yukata Selection 2019," available exclusively at the Isetan Shinjuku store, offers "extraordinary" yukatas that are a little out of your league. They are also selling special yukatas created in collaboration with model and artist Mariya Nishiuchi. The collaboration items include a lineup of six types: five yukata designs with motifs such as gorgeously blooming roses and crocodiles, and one half-width obi design with a lace pattern on one side and a space pattern on the other. The designs express cuteness, maturity, and dignified strength.
