The full details of the collaborative bag collection between Lucien Pellat-Finet and long-established Parisian leather brand MORABITO, to be released in the fall of 2019, have been revealed.
This collaboration features bags and leather goods featuring 25 years of archive motifs, characteristic of Parisian fashionista Lucien Pellat-Finet.
The items to be released include three designs each of big Boston bags, mini Boston bags, large totes, and small totes, five clutch bags, six coin cases, and three passport cases, for a total of 27 designs. Each item features his signature skull motif, available in eight variations.
Skulls, reminiscent of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, and David Bowie, which sold out immediately when they were announced this season, have been revived in this collection, and are likely to attract attention from Lucien fans and skull pattern enthusiasts alike.
The items will be on sale in early September, with retail prices starting from 320,000 yen for the big Boston bag, 178,000 yen for the mini Boston bag, 230,000 yen for the large tote, 165,000 yen for the small tote, 85,000 yen for the clutch bag, 46,000 yen for the coin case, and 38,000 yen for the passport case (all estimated prices).
