The global flagship store, MUJI Ginza, will open on April 4th on Namiki-dori in Ginza. The store will also house Japan's first MUJI HOTEL GINZA and Japan's first dining establishment, MUJI Diner. A press preview was held on the 2nd prior to the opening, revealing the interior.

The building will span 11 floors, from the basement to the 10th floor, with MUJI located from the basement to the 6th floor, and MUJI HOTEL GINZA located on the 6th to 10th floors.

The flagship store, which is based on the concepts of "connecting people" and "connecting communities," is characterized by the fact that it is "a global flagship store where you can experience everything MUJI has to offer through the environment, sales floor design, service and customer service" (Mr. Akira Matsuzaki, President of Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd.). The store will offer a wide range of products and experiences that are closely related to people's lives, including retail, a hotel, a restaurant, a bakery, a lounge, a bar and a bookstore, with the aim of eventually connecting Japan and the world as one.

The first floor will offer an expanded selection of food from existing stores, including a bakery, juice stand, blended tea workshop, and produce store. The second and third floors will stock women's and men's clothing, household goods, and cosmetics. The fourth floor will have spaces for children's clothing, home appliances, a custom embroidery workshop, and "Found MUJI." The fifth floor will have "MUJI SUPPORT," a consultation counter to help with daily life. The sixth floor will host design-related exhibitions and events in the gallery "ATELIER MUJI GINZA."

"MUJI HOTEL GINZA," which will open simultaneously on floors 6 to 10, is the third MUJI hotel in China, following those in Shenzhen and Beijing. Like "ATELIER MUJI GINZA," the front desk will be located on the 6th floor, and a total of 79 guest rooms will be available on floors 7 to 10. The hotel will be operated by UDS Co., Ltd., the company behind brands such as Claska.
