"MUJI HOTEL" has been born, where you can enjoy MUJI products while staying overnight. The "MUJI" brand hotel, "MUJI HOTEL SHENZHEN" (Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China), will open on January 18, 2018, and "MUJI HOTEL BEIJING" (Beijing, China) will open on March 20, 2018.
Based on the concept of "anti-gorgeous, anti-cheap," MUJI HOTEL will offer a good night's sleep at just the right price, a space to rejuvenate body and mind while traveling, and services that connect guests with the local area. In a world where travel and transportation have become a part of daily life, shifting from the extraordinary to an extension of the everyday, and travel simply consuming prepared experiences to experiences created by the individual, this hotel, in collaboration with MUJI stores, allows guests to experience the MUJI philosophy through the feel of the towels, the placement of outlets and lights, the restaurant menu, and the space.
MUJI HOTEL SHENZHEN will be located within Upper Hills, a comprehensive commercial facility currently under construction near the center of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. The reception will be located on the second floor of the building, and 79 guest rooms will be located on the fourth to sixth floors. MUJI will be creating the overall concept and interior design of the rooms, while a local company will be responsible for operation. Also on the second floor of the same building, MUJI Diner will be available for guests to use from breakfast through dinner and bar time. The hotel aims to create a facility where guests can experience the entire MUJI worldview, along with the MUJI store, which will open on the second and third floors on the same day as the hotel's opening.

The "MUJI HOTEL BEIJING" is located in a corner of Beijing Fang, a redevelopment area in Beijing's old downtown that retains many historic buildings. The first floor of the four-story building will house the reception, cafe, and bookshop, while the second and third floors will house guest rooms and the fourth floor will house a restaurant. Based on the MUJI concept provided by Ryohin Keikaku, UDS Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) and its Chinese subsidiary will handle the planning, interior design, and management. As in Shenzhen, MUJI will open in the same building, and an open space will be set up on the first floor to provide a space where guests and local residents can gather and communicate freely.
