To celebrate the brand's 100th anniversary, Akris is hosting a special exhibition featuring the Akris wardrobe worn by Princess Charlene of Monaco, "Akris x H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco," from January 23 to February 19, 2023, at the Akris Salon (Imperial Hotel Plaza, 1st floor).
Princess Charlene is attracting global attention as a new generation of royal celebrity. Since her marriage to Prince Albert II, Creative Director Albert Kriemler has deepened his friendship with the Princess and provided her with a variety of wardrobe pieces. Enjoy a selection of precious pieces from the archive collections of Akris and Princess Charlene herself, brought to Japan specially for this exhibition.

In her official engagement photograph in 2010, Princess Charlene of Monaco wore a jade-colored (light green) halter neck dress by Akris. She came across the dress by chance at an Akris boutique in Monte Carlo, Monaco, while enjoying a private shopping trip. Since then, Akris' Creative Director Albert Kriemler has regularly visited the Monaco Palace to create modern collections for Princess Charlene.
