The Imperial Hotel Tokyo will be selling a wide variety of chocolate-related products for Valentine's Day 2018 at the hotel shop, Gargantua, on the first floor of the main building. 

Since November 2017, the hotel has been carefully handcrafting each and every bonbon chocolate under the guidance of chef chocolatier Yukio Ichikawa.
This year's Valentine's Day box set includes five different chocolates, such as the classic "Classic" (8 pieces, 2,700 yen including tax) with bitter, caramel, and cafe flavors; "French" (8 pieces, 2,808 yen including tax) with a vegetable flavor such as sweet corn and tomato, based on the flavor of Imperial Hotel's consommé; "Aroma" (8 pieces, 2,808 yen including tax) which allows you to enjoy a combination of aromas and fruit flavors such as rose and poire mint; and "Zipang" (8 pieces, 2,916 yen including tax) which is decorated with a Japanese pattern design using ingredients such as pickled plums, red beans, and brown sugar.

The limited-time cake "Heartful "Valentine"" (for two people, 2,160 yen including tax), available from January 15th to February 14th, has also been revamped.
This cake features raspberry and fig confiture scented with red wine, wrapped in dark chocolate mousse and topped with a heart-shaped mousse scented with tonka beans, making it a perfect gift for a loved one, as well as a dish suitable for spending precious time together.

The limited-time breads on sale from January 1st to February 28th include "Pan Dolce" (2,430 yen including tax), which is a panettone dough mixed with chocolate chips, dried cranberries, and roasted almonds; "Chocolate and Hazelnut Brioche" (1,836 yen including tax), which is a brioche dough mixed with chocolate cream and chocolate chips and topped with fragrant roasted hazelnuts and bitter chocolate; and "Chocolate Scone" (4 pieces for 648 yen including tax), which is a scone baked with chocolate chips woven into it. "Pan Dolce" can also be delivered.

In addition to being sold at Gargantua, chocolates perfect as gifts for Valentine's Day are also available through the online shop and mail order catalog. On January 12th, new products will be released in limited quantities, including "Marble Assortment" (1,512 yen including tax), an original tin packed with nine types of marble chocolate, including five new flavors such as Unshu mandarin orange, pineapple, and chai; "Bitter Assortment" (20 pieces of five types, 1,404 yen including tax) and (9 pieces of three types, 756 yen including tax), an assortment that allows you to compare chocolates with different cocoa contents; and "Variety Assortment" (8 pieces of two types of sticks, 25 pieces of seven types of plate chocolates, 2,700 yen including tax), a chic two-tiered package packed with a wide variety of popular plate-shaped and stick-shaped chocolates.
