Materials from the show's sets are reused in the creative field
In collaboration with LA RÉSERVE DES ARTS

A creative initiative that purely celebrates reuse. Stage represents a circular approach to creativity, never to be used more than once. For its Spring/Summer 2023 Haute Couture collection, ‘Valentino Le Club Couture’, Maison Valentino collaborated with La Réserve des Arts, a French non-profit organization founded in 2008, to implement a project that applies the circular economy to the creative sector and supports its various aspects and interlocutors.

The organization's core activities are to collect and repurpose used sets, props, and visual merchandising products, giving them new life and providing them to a community of over 10,000 members, including students and artists, to support their creative work. At the same time, the initiative contributes to continuously raising environmental awareness through educational projects. Sharing value is a mission that Maison Valentino is actively committed to. For the show, held on January 25, 2023, the 475-square-meter runway carpet and other materials, including drapes and textiles, were salvaged. These will be refurbished and donated to two of La Réserve des Arts' three stores in France: La Boutique in Paris and L’Entrepôt in Pantin, Île-de-France.

Valentino's growing community brings together people who share the same mission and create new exchanges of value. The Maison is committed to raising environmental awareness, creating new synergies in the industry, and engaging local communities by supporting culture and fostering dialogue with organizations and institutions in line with its creations.
Recycling discarded or no longer used materials is part of its approach to giving back. Valentino recognizes the value of community through a global perspective and focuses on continuing this fruitful process of exchange and collaboration.
