A new sharing service that allows children to exchange their outgrown clothes online

May 10, 2015

Mycle, a sharing service that allows users to easily exchange children's clothes online, launched in full force at the end of May. Pre-registration is currently being accepted.

Mycle allows registered users to easily exchange children's clothes that have outgrown them with other children's clothes that fit perfectly. It was designed to reduce the burden on families with growing children who quickly outgrow new clothes.

By registering for a monthly membership for 1,200 yen (tax included), users receive online tickets that can be exchanged for boxes filled with children's clothes. Tickets are awarded monthly, or users can obtain tickets by sending their own outgrown children's clothes to the service. To donate clothes, simply place all clothes of the same size in a paper bag or cardboard box and request Mycle to pick them up on a date and time of their choosing. There's no need to fill out a shipping label.

In principle, a box of children's clothes can be exchanged with one ticket, but multiple tickets are required to exchange for a larger box or a box containing high-end brand items. Pre-registration is free and can be completed by simply adding the official account as a friend on the LINE app.
