
Valentino has opened a pop-up store in the promotional space of ISETAN SALONE on the first floor of Tokyo Midtown Galleria. It will be open until May 19th. The store will feature a capsule collection with a red heart motif, which will be available for pre-sale in Japan.
For the L'amour Capsule Collection, the brand collaborated with renowned Italian pop artist Giosetta Fioroni. The pop collection combines Fioroni's signature heart motif with Valentino's iconic color, red, and will be available for pre-sale in Japan.
The highlight is the bag (298,000 yen). Available in three colors: fuchsia pink, red, and navy, the bag features a gold heart-shaped clasp and a thin chain for an elegant shine. The heart motif is engraved with a line from the lyrics of Frankie Laine, who also appears in the 1955 American musical "Guys and Dolls," "Your eyes are the eyes of a woman in love."
Among the apparel, a striking item is the L'Amour print down jacket (534,000 yen) dotted with bright red hearts. The iconic Rockstud motif on the zipper is a typical Valentino design. The black leather down jacket (993,000 yen) features a large heart motif sewn onto the back for a playful touch. Other items on display include a dress with a refined ribbon collar (438,000 yen), a cut-and-sew top (177,000 yen) and sweater (297,000 yen) featuring heart-shaped faux leather flowers, and a T-shirt (69,000 yen) with a silkscreened heart motif printed on the back.
In terms of shoes, white camouflage sneakers (92,000 yen) are also available. These "serious sneakers" are both stylish and comfortable. The heart-motif strap sandals are available in a 10cm heel (116,000 yen) and a 5mm heelless type (110,000 yen). The scarf (53,000 yen) printed with a large heart motif is also perfect for the coming season. During the event, all products will be packaged in a limited edition box printed with a heart motif.
Isetan Salone opened in April this year as a new type of select store that embodies the essence of the Isetan Shinjuku store. Based on the concept of "combining products and art," the two-floor, approximately 900 square meters store offers fashion, miscellaneous goods, cosmetics, fragrances, and more.
