
Starbucks will release the "Classic Tiramisu Frappuccino®," which captures the deliciousness of tiramisu, at Starbucks stores nationwide (excluding some locations) on March 20th.
The "Classic Tiramisu Frappuccino®" uses coffee brewed in-store to recreate the coffee seeping from the sponge, one of the keys to tiramisu's deliciousness. The recipe was inspired by the traditional tiramisu recipe. The sponge is infused with in-store brewed coffee and syrup, and the base is a custard made with mascarpone and eggs, resulting in a Frappuccino® that feels like a dessert, with a rich flavor and deep richness. A generous sprinkling of cocoa powder on top of the whipped cream creates a tiramisu-like texture.
The tall version is priced at 590 yen. The sale period is from March 20th to April 10th.
