Oakley and Fragment Team Up Again! Featuring Japanese-Made Apparel and Frogskins in Vibrant Colors

Oakley and Fragment are teaming up again for the 2023 collection. This collection, which will be released in two parts, will feature the iconic Frogskins™ and apparel.


This collaboration marks the sixth time that Oakley has collaborated with Hiroshi Fujiwara, a musician, producer, and designer, once again combining the exceptional craftsmanship and design of both companies.

A leading figure in the Harajuku fashion and streetwear industries, Fujiwara founded Fragment Design in 2003 and has since collaborated with world-renowned fashion and lifestyle brands. This collection perfectly combines Fujiwara's signature timeless design, which is minimal yet distinctive, to pursue a streamlined, high-quality design. With this aesthetic in mind, Oakley and Fragment combined the DNA of both brands to update Oakley's signature Frogskins model.

The first release will be a Frogskins Premium Bundle Set and a limited-edition capsule collection of apparel. This bundle includes the Frogskins TI in satin black titanium, featuring Fujiwara's signature design, and the Frogskins in matte black. Both styles feature Prizm™ Gray lenses for a vibrant, crisp view. Additionally, these premium Frogskins come with a specially designed, reusable sunglasses storage case and microbag.


Apparel from the capsule collection includes timeless short-sleeve tees and hoodies in black and white. Crafted in Japan from premium cotton, the hoodies reflect Fujiwara's sophisticated style and Oakley's signature functional design. Available in black and white, the T-shirt pays homage to Fujiwara's aesthetic of clean, streamlined lines. Featuring both brands' bold logos on the front and Frogskins' distinctive silhouette on the back, the crew neck T-shirt is a bold yet minimalist expression of Tokyo street fashion.

The first capsule collection, including both the Frogskins bundle and apparel, will be available exclusively at four stores starting January 19th.




The second part of the 2023 collection features three styles featuring glossy black Frogskins frames with Prizm™ Gray lenses. Featuring a vibrant three-color logo commemorating the two brands' collaboration across the boundaries of streetwear, design, and technology, the Frogskins come with a matching microbag and specially designed packaging. The classic gray lens and black frame combination is enhanced by a logo design engraved in vibrant blue, pink, and yellow. This second installment of the 2023 collection will go on sale from January 31st.
