Just off the main shopping street, on a narrow street nestled between old houses, lies the Kagurazaka flower shop "te-n.", blending seamlessly into the surrounding neighborhoods, seemingly out of place at first glance.
Opening the door reveals a world so colorful and fantastical it's hard to imagine it would exist from the outside, as if you've wandered into a Grimm fairy tale. The shop features a red mushroom table and chairs reminiscent of Snow White, a large zebra, a decorative chandelier, and numerous birdcages hanging from the ceiling. These antique items are a collection of favorites from overseas and elsewhere.
The flower arrangements are centered around large roses, with greens like tetragona and oregano, and succulents, all arranged in tasteful antique containers. But there's more to "te-n." than just flowers. Finally, colorful green and yellow balls and star panels add a touch of elegance to the arrangements. Ten.'s unique arrangements, featuring colorful materials like stars, balls, and yarn, as well as dried flowers and birdcages, are beloved by everyone from connoisseurs to local elementary school students.
Their ideas extend beyond gift bouquets, flower arrangements, and event decorations; they also offer window displays, photography decorations, and even wedding proposals. In addition to bouquets, main table decorations, and guest table decorations, they also create entrance decorations, venue focal points, and accessories. A panel of a rabbit (bride) and a lion (bride), created for a previous order, is also on display in the store. Check out their various flower-related activities, including workshops where you can make bouquets and Christmas wreaths together, held irregularly.
