Jean-Paul Hévin and Alain Milliat promote the French food culture of "Apéro" through chocolate

Jean-Paul Hevin is collaborating with Alain Milliat, a juice maker known for its commitment to quality and ingredients, to create the "Apero Gourmand JPH + AM2015" line (available until August 31st). The line celebrates the French food culture known as "apéro." Apéro, short for aperitif, refers to the culture of enjoying drinks and conversation while snacking on finger foods. In France, aperitifs are popular on city terraces and in parks from spring through the end of summer, when the days get longer. This collaboration will see Jean-Paul Hevin boutiques pairing their sweets with a fruit drink designed by Alain Milliat, which changes each month. In May, the brand's "Fraise Nectar" will be paired with chocolate. The "Apéro Gourmand Affogato" (1,322 yen including tax) combines a glass dessert "Glace au Chocolat Deux" with Fraise Nectar, and the tartness of the strawberries lightly enhances the rich flavor of the milk chocolate.

Other items in the lineup include the "Apéro Gourmand Menu Delices d'Ethe" (1,512 yen including tax), a set of a champagne cocktail made with Fraise Nectar and a petite tart, and the "Apéro Gourmand Menu Brise d'Ethe" (1,556 yen including tax), which allows you to enjoy a chocolate tart with a cocktail made with Fraise Nectar and Perrier.

Also available for takeout is the "Coffret Flècheurs d'Ethe Mai" (4,266 yen including tax), an assortment of Fraise Nectar and a "Grand Cake" flavored with five spices such as ginger and cinnamon. Furthermore, the online boutique will be exclusively releasing the "Coffret Fraicheur D'ete Me Web Limited" (5,124 yen including tax), which is filled with financiers and bonbon chocolates along with Fraize Nectar.

The white peach drink "Peche Blanche" will be available in June, followed by "Mango" in July and "Summer Pear" pear in August. Alain Milliat juice will also be available at "Today's Juice Nectar" at Jean-Paul Hévin's eat-in space, Bar à Chocolat. In addition to the drinks released each month, "Pineapple Juice" with its juicy aroma will be available from May to August, and "Passion Nectar" made with purple passion fruit from Ecuador will be available from June to August.
