A dining table has the power to change not only the impression of a living room, but also the way you live your life.

Mitsukoshi Isetan is introducing a dining table from March 6th as part of its "Only MI" line of items created based on customer feedback. The dining table was created by ATELIERMOKUBA, a popular manufacturer of solid wood tables and furniture, in collaboration with up-and-coming architect/artist Sano Fumihiko.

The tabletop combines a single piece of Yakusugi cedar carved with the skilled hands of a skilled craftsman with a different material, resin. To match the design, Sano Fumihiko, who has experience as a sukiya carpenter, designed the table legs.




Not only does this table have the timeless beauty of a single piece of wood, but the texture of the resin and the design of the legs give it a luxurious feel. We want you to see, touch, and feel this one-of-a-kind dining table.


In addition, Atelier Mokuba's new store, "ATELIER MOKUBA lab -directed by Sano Fumihiko-", will open in the main building of Isetan Shinjuku on March 27th. With designer Fumihiko Sano as the designer, the store will develop a new spatial expression using solid wood.
