"It has been 20 years since I took over as designer from my father. Every season, I create shoes that are balanced to make a woman's legs look beautiful. I incorporate the mood of the season and motifs that evoke it, offering playful pumps that even adult women can wear. I believe that women's shoes are meant to make a woman look beautiful, which means that the way the exposed parts of the shoe look is important. The upper, which greatly influences the impression of a shoe, is the part that covers and hides the foot, and I have created a unique greatest common denominator for this, being neither too shallow nor too deep. This is the key to achieving the perfect balance for Osaki. We're constantly researching and improving, and we've arrived at the current silhouette, where the opening of the footbed provides stability for those with thin feet and isn't too tight for those with high insteps. Heel height is also an important factor when it comes to pumps, but after striving to strike a balance between comfort and style, we decided that 8cm is the best, and as a result, many of our shoes have 8cm heels. "We started taking orders when a customer asked us to make bridal shoes. They asked us to make shoes using leftover fabric from their wedding dress. Osaki's policy is to make women look beautiful. Within that, we believe it is our mission to fulfill women's shoe-related desires. We want to do our best to make sure that our customers love our shoes and are pleased with them. We want to resolve any concerns they may have about shoe color and comfort as much as possible. That's why we started the semi-customization service."
