The main visual for 2019 is based on the mimosa flower, the motif of International Women's Day, which falls on March 8th during the campaign period. The design was created by Philippe Weisbecker, who also designed Isetan's new wrapping paper. With mimosa as the key visual, the three flagship stores - Isetan Shinjuku, Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, and Ginza Mitsukoshi - will feature photo spots that evoke the arrival of spring and windows painted in mimosa yellow.
The photo spots are not just art to be enjoyed by looking at, but a first collaboration with VINYL MUSEUM, a participatory photogenic art exhibition where photographers themselves become a part of it. With Kato Chiaki as art director, you can enjoy photogenic spots that make the most of the space of each of the three stores.
