January 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the project. Past purchasers have commented, "It's like finding a unique, one-of-a-kind chair that's just for me," and the sixth installment of the popular "Knots and Fragments" series is finally here, with many eagerly awaiting the next release.

The "Knots and Fragments" project, led by Maruni Wood Industry and minä perhonen designer Akira Minagawa, considers resource utilization and embraces the inherent beauty of rejected wood grain, bringing it to market with a loving eye. Recognizing the unique character of the knotty chair frames, the series combines them with "fragments" of minä perhonen fabric, which are left over from cutting, to create a product that expresses a diverse range of individuality.
