Beachwear brand ROBINSON LES BAINS will open pop-up shops in three locations in Tokyo.
The brand was founded in Paris in 2007 by designer Christophe Verot. It offers a wide variety of timeless and elegant beachwear, including mini briefs, swimwear with long swim shorts, and after-beach accessories.
In 2014, the brand launched a collaborative line with LVMH's resort hotel DU CHEVAL BLANC, which is sold in department stores and select shops around the world, including Harrods and Colette.
The shop will feature its 2015 collection, "Eclectic Journey in the Balearic Islands." Inspired by the celebrities who flock to the Balearic Islands, a secluded resort destination in the western Mediterranean, the collection is a hybrid of diverse styles. The collection expresses "freedom" through lightweight, comfortable styles incorporating 60s pop colors and bold patterns. It features a pattern of the island's endemic cactungle plant.
The collection will be held from May 27th to June 2nd at the Contemporary Casual section on the 6th floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building, from June 6th to June 23rd at Isetan Sports Gate on the 2nd floor of Park City Isetan 5, and from June 12th to June 28th at the Land of Tomorrow Marunouchi store in Marunouchi Park Building Brick Square.
