The new collaboration sunglasses between German eyewear brand MYKITA and Maison Margiela feature a unique trompe l'oeil design.
The acetate frames are meticulously designed, with two overlapping sections of different shades of color at the front and back, creating a mysterious unevenness that transcends the traditional concept of frames.
There are two types: "MMDUAL004," a modified Wellington-style frame with a clear surface at the front, and "MMDUAL001," a modified Boston-style frame with a darker surface at the front. Each is priced at 56,500 yen. In addition to the gray shown in the photo, navy is also available.
These unique sunglasses are the result of a combination of MYKITA's precision craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology and Maison Margiela's pursuit of modern, high-end design.
