Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi is holding its Christmas event, "Midtown Christmas 2018," until December 25th.

The main event is "Starlight Garden 2018," an illumination display that will decorate the vast lawn plaza, covering an area of approximately 2,000 square meters. The plaza will be bathed in a magnificent display of blue LEDs, based on the "space" theme that is a familiar color used for Tokyo Midtown's illuminations.
The gently curving walkway beside the lawn plaza will be transformed into "Starlight Road," illuminated in blue and white. Other attractions include an illumination display of approximately 20,000 pure white lights shaped like champagne glasses, warm candlelight illuminations in Midtown Garden and along Gaien Higashi-dori Street, the Santa Tree, a four-meter-tall tree made up of approximately 1,800 Santa Clauses stacked up in a large four-story atrium, and the White Snow Shower, a decoration inspired by sparkling white snow installed in the Galleria atrium inside the building. It's also recommended to take a route that takes you around the entire Tokyo Midtown area.
The "Christmas Wine Festival in Tokyo Midtown 2018" is being held at the Galleria B1 Atrium until the 25th. Sample approximately 120 types of wine from around the world, stop by to prepare for Christmas at home, and consider this a great spot for your weekend getaway!
