First held in the winter of 2014 as "Nakameguro Blue Cave," the illumination event "Blue Cave SHIBUYA" was revived in Shibuya in the winter of 2016 and is being held again this year from November 30th, stretching from Shibuya Koen-dori to Yoyogi Park's Zelkova-lined avenue.
Several types of moving light displays that were a huge hit last year will be continuing this year, with approximately 600,000 electric lights painting the streets of Shibuya in a romantic blue, including displays that undulate from the back of the avenue to random lights. This year, in addition to dimming effects, sound effects such as ringing bells have been added, making for an upgraded illumination display.
From December 22nd to 24th, "Blue Cave Shibuya" presents "X'mas LOVE SYMPHONY". Enjoy illuminations that are synchronized with the pitch and dynamics of the sound, along with live piano performances. Performances will include Christmas songs such as "Silent Night", "The Christmas Song", and "I'll Be Home For Christmas", as well as "Beauty & the Beast", the theme song from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. It will create an even more romantic Christmas atmosphere.
Just like last year, a pop-up shop called "Ao no Cave Blue Parks" will open on Zelkova Tree Avenue (Yoyogi Station side). They will offer items that will make the illuminations even more enjoyable, such as "Ao no Cave Bolognese" made with Nissin Foods' "Ao no Cave" brand products, as well as blue champagne and hot blue lemonade inspired by the "Ao no Cave."
A BLUE CUBE, which appears in the "Ao no Cave" brand commercials, will also be set up as a photo spot. The interior is completely mirrored, and the blue decorations are reflected from various angles, creating a fantastical space where you can enjoy taking photogenic photos.
In addition, an "SNS Follow Campaign" will be held only on weekends and holidays. Those who follow the official Instagram or Facebook accounts of "Ao no Cave (Nissin Foods)" will receive a free gift of pasta sauce "Ao no Cave Bolognese."
