Nozomi Iijima, originally from Osaka, was born in 1991. She began ballet at the age of six, won third place at the Youth America Grand Prix, a ballet competition in New York, at the age of 13, and moved to the United States alone at the age of 15. The following year, she signed a professional contract with the prestigious Houston Ballet, one of America's top five ballet companies. In 2014, she was promoted to soloist with the ballet company, and currently continues to challenge herself as a first soloist, based in the United States.

In 2016, she participated in the "Chanel N°5 L'Eau" global project, captivating many audiences by expressing the world of fragrance through dance. In 2018, she was selected as an ambassador for the watch collection "Code Coco" and was also featured in the digital campaigns for "Rouge Allure" and "Vitalumiere Glow." She has been featured in many media outlets, making her a current "it" figure that Chanel is paying attention to. We look forward to seeing even more success in the future.
