Starbucks will be releasing the "Sesame Sesame Sesame Latte" and "Sesame Sesame Sesame Frappuccino" for a limited time from December 26th to January 15th, 2019.

The "Sesame Sesame Sesame Latte" and "Sesame Sesame Sesame Frappuccino" are the second installment of the "STARBUCKS® JAPAN WONDER PROJECT," a project to rediscover and promote the wonderful things found in Japanese culture. To coincide with this season, when people are more likely to come into contact with traditional Japanese culture, the drinks are inspired by the New Year's tradition of "Kakizome," or calligraphy.
The "Sesame Sesame Sesame Frappuccino" is a pure white Frappuccino® base topped with black sesame sauce that creates beautiful patterns, creating a drink that fills your mouth with the rich flavor of sesame. The sesame sable, with its fragrant aroma and crispy texture, is topped on top of whipped cream and is made with three types of sesame: black sesame, white sesame, and golden sesame. The addition of honey, which pairs well with sesame, creates a sparkling drink that seems to brighten up the New Year.

The "Sesame Sesame Sesame Latte," served as a hot drink, combines the fragrant flavor of both the sesame seeds and espresso, which are "roasted," with the sweetness of the warm milk, creating a unique blend of Japanese and Western flavors.


Available at Starbucks stores nationwide (excluding some locations), the "Sesame Sesame Sesame Frappuccino" is only available in tall size and costs 580 yen. The prices for the "Sesame Sesame Sesame Latte" are 440 yen for a short, 480 yen for a tall, 520 yen for a grande, and 560 yen for a venti. Please note that the offer will end when all stock is gone.
