Swiss watch brand TUDOR has arrived in Japan. In addition to opening a store on the 4th floor Jewelry & Watches section of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building on October 31st, pop-up shops will also be opening in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka.
 "BLACK BAY FIFTY-EIGHT"
"BLACK BAY FIFTY-EIGHT"
Tudor was born in 1926 when Hans Wilsdorf, founder of Rolex, wanted to create a pioneering watch that combined the technology and reliability of Rolex. The lineup includes a wide variety of models from the brand's iconic Black Bay, Pelagos, and Heritage collections. The Black Bay collection, which embodies Tudor's 60-year-plus history of diver's watches and continues to evolve, includes a variety of variations, including the Black Bay Chrono chronograph model, the Black Bay Bronze with a bronze case, the Black Bay GMT with a GMT function that was unveiled at Baselworld 2018 and became a hot topic, and the Black Bay Fifty-Eight, which resembles the brand's first diver's watch. All models feature mechanical movements developed and manufactured entirely in-house, boasting a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and water resistance to 200m.
 PELAGOS
PELAGOS
The Pelagos is a full-fledged diver's watch that has evolved over the years as a symbol of the lifestyle of underwater adventurers. The most notable feature of this model is its steel folding clasp on a titanium bracelet. This clasp is equipped with a spring mechanism developed and patented by TUDOR. This ingenious system allows the bracelet to automatically adjust during diving.
The Heritage model is inspired by a model that was once enthusiastically loved by collectors, and achieves the highest performance by adding new technology and functions. The HERITAGE CHRONO BLUE is nicknamed "Monte Carlo" by collectors because of its dial design reminiscent of a casino roulette wheel, while the HERITAGE CHRONO is nicknamed "Home Plate" because the shape of the hour markers on the dial is reminiscent of baseball's home base. Both are beautiful modern-day revivals of famous chronograph models from the past.
The Jewelry & Watches shop on the 4th floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku will open on October 31st.
In addition, pop-up shops will be held at the event space on the first floor of Daimaru Tokyo and Takashimaya Watch Maison Tokyo Nihonbashi from October 31st to November 13th, at the first floor of Hankyu Men's Osaka from October 31st to November 6th, at the event space on the first floor of Takashimaya Osaka from December 19th to 25th, and at the watch salon on the fifth floor of the north building of Matsuzakaya Nagoya from November 14th to 20th.
