The Hamilton Ventura is more than just a watch icon; it's a masterpiece of industrial design. Hamilton's research and development team spent a decade developing the world's first battery-powered watch, a forerunner of today's quartz watches that changed the future. The Ventura was born in the 1950s, a time of boundless freedom and grandeur, when the American Dream was within reach.

Housed in an unconventional triangular case designed by renowned American designer Richard Arbib and equipped with a battery-powered movement, its sci-fi aesthetic attracted attention upon its release in 1957, and it firmly established itself in popularity when it was worn by Elvis in the 1961 film "Blue Hawaii." Powered by an electromagnetic coil, it featured groundbreaking technology that bridged the gap between traditional mechanical watches and the quartz movements that emerged in the 1960s.

This year marks the 130th anniversary of Hamilton's founding, and the Ventura, featuring a case crafted from the same 14-karat gold as the original model, will be released in a limited edition of 130 pieces worldwide. This Ventura, part of Hamilton's special collection, features a delicate black dial, eye-catching yellow gold PVD-plated hour and minute hands and indexes, a reliable quartz movement, and a yellow gold PVD-plated butterfly clasp, all paired with a classic black leather strap. While featuring modern features such as anti-reflective sapphire crystal and 5 ATM water resistance, the all-red second hand, a special homage to the original model, enhances the model's retro charm.

This limited edition of 130 pieces worldwide features an engraved Hamilton brand logo from when the company was founded and each piece is serially numbered, making it a valuable model to celebrate the anniversary.
