"Bon Juice" is a cold-pressed juice specialty store that uses domestically grown organic vegetables

May 27, 2015

Bon Juice, a takeout-only cold-pressed juice shop that opened in Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo in February, sells cold-pressed juice made with the utmost care from a white food truck.

Cold-pressed juice is juice made by extracting only the juice from vegetables and fruits without applying heat to the ingredients. Bon Juice offers cold-pressed juice that is made with the utmost care, both in terms of ingredients and taste. Approximately 1 to 1.5 kilograms of vegetables are used for each glass, and all of the vegetables are domestically grown, pesticide-free, and grown naturally. They use almost no sweet fruits like apples, and the juice is made using only vegetables to make it easy to drink, and is also characterized by its low fructose content. You can easily get the nutrition of the plentiful vegetables as they are. The lineup includes "Benichitose," a blend of beets, carrots, ginger, and citrus fruits; "Zen," a mix of yacon, Chinese cabbage, ginger, and bamboo charcoal; "Daidai," a combination of carrots, turmeric, and citrus fruits; "Sou," a mix of leafy vegetables and citrus fruits; and "Uguisu," which adds mugwort. Seasonal leafy vegetables include Chinese cabbage, daikon radish leaves, celery, chrysanthemum, and komatsuna, while citrus fruits include sweet spring, mandarin oranges, navel oranges, and oranges. All prices are 900 yen (tax included) for 250ml and 1,400 yen (tax included) for 500ml. Furthermore, the company plans to sell bento boxes made with the pulp left over from the juice production process. The pulp is available for free upon request, and recipes are also shared.
