Groovy Ice Cream GUFO, a popular soft serve ice cream shop in Osaka, has opened its second store, GUFO TOKYO, in Daikanyama.

Since opening its first store in Osaka, this soft serve ice cream shop has been garnering attention for its delicious and Instagrammable flavors, and is now making its first foray into Tokyo. In pursuit of "freshly made" flavors, the soft serve mix is made in-house. The mix made on-site is then turned into soft serve ice cream using a machine made by Carpigiani, an Italian company.

The soft serve ice cream base comes in two flavors: "Milk" (350 yen), which has a rich, milky flavor but melts in your mouth, and "Hazelnut" (450 yen), which is rich and luxurious and made with Italian hazelnuts. Choose your toppings (50-150 yen each) to suit your mood that day, such as caramel sauce, a daily fruit sauce, or crushed cookies. We also recommend the espresso-topped affogato and coffee shakes, made with Ethiopian Araka Natural specialty coffee, which has a fruity and sweet aroma.
