
Starbucks' second new fall offering, the Crispy Sweet Potato Frappuccino® and Crispy Sweet Potato Latte (Hot/Iced), will be available on September 13th. Both drinks feature the rich sweetness and aroma of sweet potato and the crispy texture of imokenpi (sweet potato chips). Made with slow-roasted "Annou sweet potatoes," popular for their sweetness and umami, they combine a richly sweet and fragrant sweet potato sauce with triple-fried crispy imokenpi (sweet potato chips) made from the "Kogane Senkan" variety, known for its intense sweetness and rich flavor, for a drink that lets you fully enjoy the deliciousness of sweet potato. The "Crispy Sweet Potato Frappuccino®" features whipped cream and a topping of sweet potato chips, allowing you to enjoy a crispy texture from the first sip to the last. The "Crispy Sweet Potato Latte (Hot/Iced)" features the bitterness of the espresso shot matched with the roasted sweet potato sauce, creating a deep flavor that further enhances the fragrant aroma. Available for a limited time from September 13th to 30th at Starbucks stores nationwide (excluding some locations), the "Crispy Sweet Potato Frappuccino®" is available in tall size only, priced at ¥580. The "Crispy Sweet Potato Latte (Hot/Iced)" is priced at ¥440 for a short, ¥480 for a tall, ¥520 for a grande, and ¥560 for a venti®, while supplies last. The third edition will be released on October 1st.
