Creativo on the 6th floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi is a curated sales floor featuring a selection of imported brands, primarily Italian brands. We spoke to Creativo's buyer, Kazushige Nagata, who visited PITTI IMMAGINE UOMO in January, about the notable return to classic men's fashion and his recommended pants that are typical of GINZA.



--What were the trends in pants at PITTI IMMAGINE UOMO in January?

Classic details like pleats and side adjusters were noticeable on pants from all brands. Pleats are becoming more of a staple than just a trend. Trends in color and pattern are similar to those for jackets, with green, burgundy, and yellow becoming more prominent. Checks are the dominant pattern, and corduroy is the undisputed material. Creativo has a large selection of pants that capture these trends.



--What is your top recommendation at Creativo in Ginza Mitsukoshi?

If I were to recommend a British pattern or classic detail, it would be INCOTEX's checkered pants with side adjusters. In terms of material trends, PT01's corduroy pants are a great choice. Corduroy tends to have a rough image, but these have an exquisite sheen and I think they exude the elegance that is essential to the "GINZA" style.
