--When you hear the themes "SOUL CAMP" and "Hip Hop," what kind of painting do you imagine you'd paint?
"After thinking about it a lot, I decided I wanted to paint a Shinjuku-esque streetscape, with lots of skyscrapers."
--Please tell us about your enthusiasm for performing a "live painting" in the unusual environment of Isetan Shinjuku.
"This time, I'll be bringing it in with a certain amount of base painting done, so I hope that people will enjoy watching it progress to completion. No matter where I do it, the things I do don't change, so I want people to see my usual way of painting."
--What aspects of your work would you like customers to see?
"These days, I only have exhibitions once a year, so there aren't many opportunities to see works on canvases that large, so I want people to see works that are different from murals. The texture of a wall and a canvas is completely different."
