Photographer Kusano Yoko's photo book "Across the Sea" will be published in a limited run of 700 copies by roshin books, a micropublisher specializing in photo books.


After winning the New Cosmos of Photography Excellence Award (selected by Sanai Masashi) in 2014, photographer Kusano Yoko began working energetically. She has released a series of acclaimed works, including "UNTITLED" (self-published) in 2015, "EVERYTHING IS TEMPORARY" (Pull the Wool) and "YOKO KUSANO x MOTOLA SERENA" in 2017.


This work, "Across the Sea," is composed of photographs taken during a visit to London. Kusano's works, which bring together light that can only be grasped at this moment, evoke a sense of melancholy in the viewer, while also conveying the world's overflowing vitality.
