Akiko Tanaka, the "S-size fashion leader" with 150,000 followers on Instagram and a hugely popular official Ameba blog, has teamed up again this fall with the Strawberry Shop at Isetan Shinjuku to create a collaborative item. The Strawberry Shop, located on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku and caters to women who wear "S-size" sizes, will be holding an event to coincide with the release of the collaborative products on September 19th.


"Last time, I proposed "clothes that I want to wear," but this time I created a versatile dress that can be worn in a wide range of situations by many petite women who are concerned about their body shape," says Tanaka. All of the items are realistic and have been carefully designed to fit perfectly and look great when worn, reflecting Tanaka's unique perspective as a petite woman who is only 145cm tall.

This dress, created in collaboration with Kumikyoku, uses a small floral pattern carefully selected by Tanaka herself from around 100 types of archive fabric imported from the 1900s. The high-waisted cut, which creates the illusion of longer legs, is made with elastic gathers to create a three-dimensional effect, and the back style also features mature details, making it a special point.
