Starbucks releases new drink, Chunky Cookie Frappuccino® returns after three years

Starbucks' new Chunky Cookie Frappuccino® will be available from June 20th. It will be available at Starbucks stores nationwide (with some exceptions) until July 1st.


The Chunky Cookie Frappuccino®, which was released for two consecutive years in 2014 and 2015, is a luxurious treat made with a vanilla-flavored Frappuccino® and an entire cookie with chocolate chunks. The milky Frappuccino® is filled with the flavors of fragrant cookie, chocolate, and nuts, and its gentle taste, which is like eating a cookie dipped in milk, became a huge hit.

You can fully enjoy the cookie flavor just as is, but it also pairs wonderfully with other flavors. When it was last released, various customizations became a hot topic. Here are five of the most popular customizations!


  • For a sophisticated taste with a hint of spice
By replacing the vanilla syrup with chai syrup, you can enjoy a refined, spicy flavor.

  • Enjoy the luxurious pairing of coffee and cookies
Add a Frappuccino® Roast (+¥50). This drink will make you feel like you're enjoying the pairing of coffee and cookies.

  • Add lots of chocolate and enjoy the crunchy texture
Change vanilla syrup to chocolate syrup and add chocolate sauce and chocolate chips (+¥50).

  • For a richer, more fragrant flavor
Change vanilla syrup to almond toffee syrup. Add white mocha syrup (+¥50).

  • Enjoy the unexpected combination of cookies and citrus fruits
Omit the syrup and add citrus pulp (+¥100). Enjoy the taste of a cookie sandwiched with citrus jam.
