Acne Studios has unveiled a football-themed capsule collection, Fotbollsklubb.


Fotbollsklubb, which means "football club" in Swedish, is a sportswear series inspired by sweatsuits from the 1960s and 1970s. The collection features modern materials and details that evoke a truly retro feel.

The contrasting color combinations, reminiscent of two soccer teams competing against each other, feature bright, pop colors versus classic, understated hues. The football capsule collection is inspired by ribbed sportswear and features shiny technical jerseys with a playful patchwork of sewn-in silicone and plastic.

The print also features the number "13" and "Floragatan Fotbollsklubb," a nod to the brand's new headquarters at Floragatan 13 in Stockholm.

The capsule collection includes t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, knitted accessories like beanies and scarves, and actual football equipment, including bags and whistles made from soccer goal netting.
