Acne Studios presented its Spring/Summer 2026 Men's Collection at Paris Fashion Week. This season's theme was an exploration of the diversity of masculinity. Elements of sportswear were combined with intellectualism and nostalgia to create a free-spirited, intuitive style that seems to have been passed down through generations.

The protagonist is a young man living a university life. The collection exudes a natural, effortless mood, like someone casually getting dressed and hopping on a scooter in the morning. Taking a step back from last season's pursuit of perfection and sartorial aesthetic, this season's collection is striking for its more relaxed, effortless, and eclectic approach, reminiscent of vintage clothing.

We're constantly exploring and reinventing the codes that define menswear. This time, we were drawn to a slightly nerdy yet quietly confident approach. We're more drawn to cool, effortless attitudes than perfection.

Mixed and contemporary—free forms set a new standard
This season's collection blends purposes and eras, and silhouettes evolve freely. Long and oversized shapes flow, creating a unique balance between voluminous jogging bottoms, ultra-short shorts, and slim bootcut pants.

Details that are heavily influenced by the 1970s are also evident, such as long-collared shirts, silk embellishments, and the new slim-fit "1979" jeans, which, as the name suggests, are a modern reinterpretation of classic styles. Furthermore, the iconic "2010" jeans, with their low waist and straight leg, are also featured in a "repaired" version, linking past and future.

Leather suits are luxurious yet structured, while stretchy latex-coated denim shows a penchant for minimalism with clean tailoring.

Reimagining an Icon with a Playful Touch
Acne Studios' signature classics have been updated with a unique approach this season. Bomber jackets and biker jackets are available in sharp silhouettes or boldly voluminous styles. A variety of prints, including Japanese motifs and trompe l'oeil, are layered on top of each other, creating a visually appealing composition.

A particularly unique detail is the playful way the denim fabric "peels away," revealing a retro floral pattern. These items, which combine nostalgia with modernity, are the true essence of Acne Studios' creativity.
