A new fragrance, "Eau de citron noir," will be added to HERMÈS' fragrance collection, "COLOGNE HERMÈS," on May 25th.

The Maison's perfume creation director, Christine Nagel, chose the smoky, pure citron noir (dried lemon) as the key note for the new fragrance. Citron noir is created by boiling small, sweet and sour lemons in salt water and then drying them in the sun for several weeks. Over time, the citron noir turns a dark brown, almost black (noir), and evolves into a mellow, smoky note. Combining the freshness of fruit with the richness of spices, it releases a light, metallic scent as airy as the palm of your hand.
Eau de Citron Noir makes the most of these characteristics, creating a unique fragrance that is refreshing and clean, yet leaves a unique, mysterious aftertaste. It also has incredible longevity, allowing you to enjoy the scent for hours, from midday to midnight.
The dark blue bottle of the spray-type Eau de Cologne Natural Spray (100ml/14,000 yen) expresses the contrast between light and darkness, making it a delightful gift for people of all ages and genders.
This fragrance will also be added to the Le Bain Hermès bath collection.
