Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen, aka the Olsen sisters, are twins born on June 13, 1986, in Los Angeles, USA.
They debuted at the age of eight months in the role of Michelle Tanner, the third daughter of the main character, on the TV drama "Full House." The two sisters alternated playing the same role. The series became a popular series that ran for about eight years, and the twins became famous as child actors. After "Full House" ended, they focused on TV dramas, but Ashley retired from acting in 2009, and Mary-Kate retired in 2012.
They have had their own fashion brand, "mary-kateandashley," since they were 12 years old, and are currently active as fashion designers.

The Row was launched in 2006, followed in 2007 by Elizabeth & James and Textile Elizabeth & James, which focuses on denim wear. These brands offer bags, jewelry, eyewear and fragrances in addition to clothing.

Last year, The Row won the Womenswear Designer of the Year award at the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards, hosted by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). Furthermore, from the 2013-14 Autumn/Winter season, Itochu Corporation will be responsible for imports and Coronet will be responsible for sales in Japan, with plans to expand the number of stores carrying the brand.
