Jacob Cohen's fluorescent stitched denim to be released early at the Tokyo Midtown store opening

Apr 20, 2013

To celebrate the opening of its first flagship store in Japan, JACOB COHEN, at Tokyo Midtown on April 25th, will be releasing a pre-release of fluorescent-stitched denim.
The "FLUO" series, derived from the Italian phrase "Colore fluorescente," features three men's colors. The jeans are accented with fluorescent embroidery, stitching, and buttons. Available in two styles: the low-rise J622 and the higher-rise J688, the jeans also feature unique variations on the brand's signature J embroidered coin pocket and ponytail patch. Both are priced at ¥50,400.
The Tokyo Midtown store is the brand's third store worldwide, following locations in Saint-Tropez and Antwerp. The store will carry not only pants but also the full men's and women's collections, including tops and accessories.

The brand was founded by Tato Baldelle and passed on to his son Nicola Baldelle in 2003, who established the brand as a luxury denim brand, but Nicola passed away suddenly in 2012. The designs have been taken over by the Maison's team.
