The MILLY 2013-2014 Fall/Winter collection was unveiled at New York Fashion Week. The theme, "Illumination," was inspired by the beautiful cityscape at night. The designer was brand founder Michelle Smith. The color palette was based on shimmering charcoal and metallic black, accented with royal blue and pink. Shiny materials, such as laminated holograms and metallic taffeta, were also used extensively. In addition to menswear-inspired tailored coats, jackets, and leather jackets, the collection also featured feminine pieces like pencil skirts and colorfully printed dresses and blouses, offering a trendy wardrobe. Shining at the back of the runway was the new brand logo. This logo, based on the letter "M" and representing the brand's evolution, will be featured on tags and shoppers at MILLY stores and online at the end of June, along with the Pre-Fall 2013 collection.
