Two works from "TeamLab Drawing Town & Paper Craft," in which drawings are turned into one-of-a-kind paper crafts, will be exhibited at Sonic City in Omiya, Saitama Prefecture from May 3rd to May 6th.


This work will be exhibited at the Saitama Art Festival 2018, a project celebrating the 30th anniversary of Sonic City's opening, "Connecting the City, People, and the Future through Art." The exhibit was created by teamLab, a group of ultra-technologists who continue to surprise and inspire people with numerous works, including the collaborative creativity educational project "teamLab: Dance! Art Exhibition and Learn! Future Amusement Park," which attracted 470,000 visitors. "Drawing Town" features free-form drawings of cars and buildings that appear in 3D and move around the city on a giant screen. Experience the fascinating transformation of the cityscape based on your drawings. Furthermore, "Drawing Paper Craft" transforms your drawings into unfolded diagrams that can be assembled, fostering spatial awareness, understanding of dimensional differences, and problem-solving skills. The venue will also host an event where you can create your own original metal badge featuring your drawing.
