Espace Louis Vuitton Osaka to host exhibition of Alberto Giacometti, a leading Swiss artist

Espace Louis Vuitton Osaka will host an exhibition of the great artist Alberto Giacometti. The exhibition is part of the Fondation Louis Vuitton's "Hors-les-mur" (Beyond the Walls) program, which aims to provide a wider audience with the opportunity to experience his work through an international project showcasing works from the Fondation's collection at Espace Louis Vuitton locations in Tokyo, Munich, Venice, Beijing, Seoul, and Osaka.

This exhibition, the third at Espace Louis Vuitton Osaka, will feature eight of Giacometti's iconic sculptures from the Fondation's collection: Head on a Pole [Tête sur tige] (1947), Three Walking Men [Trois hommes qui marchent] (1948), Stumbling Man [L’homme qui The exhibition features works by Giacometti, including Lothar I, Lothar II, and Lothar III (1964-1965), including Lothar III (Venice Woman III) (1950), Femme de Venise III (Venice Woman III) (1956), Grande Femme II (Grande Femme II) (1960), and Têtes d'homme (Head of a Man) (Lothar I, Lothar II, Lothar III) (1964-1965). These masterpieces capture the genius of one of Switzerland's leading artists.
