INSHORE, a lifestyle brand offering comfortable beach-like relaxing wear and bed linens, opened a brick-and-mortar store in Kamakura on March 17th.

In pursuit of a beach-like feel, the brand has been offering bed linens such as cushions, pillowcases, and blankets, as well as comfortable relaxing wear such as hoodies and gown coats since autumn 2017. The simple color variations based on navy and white feature a wave pattern, creating a simple and sophisticated design that has never been seen before. The relaxing wear items have different knitting methods, making them suitable for everyday wear, even in town. Starting in Spring/Summer 2018, the brand will also be introducing a "Kids Blanket" (7,500 yen), perfect as a gift.

In addition, the newly opening Kamakura store will also feature a shop-in-shop for "SURF MICKEY," a fashion line featuring Disney character Mickey Mouse, which the brand has been collaborating with since 2017. The line offers a wide range of fashion items, from men's, women's, and children's T-shirts, bags, and pouches featuring art of Mickey and friends enjoying the surf, to lifestyle items such as mugs, glasses, cushions, towels, and bath mats. Since its Spring 2017 debut, the line has only been available online and as a pop-up shop, but this will be the first time it has been available in a brick-and-mortar store. To celebrate the opening, SURF MICKEY will be releasing exclusive Kamakura-only key charms (1,800 yen) and tote bags (5,800 yen) featuring hydrangea designs, as well as a stuffed toy of SURF MICKEY wearing a hydrangea-patterned aloha shirt (S 2,300 yen, L 3,500 yen, 2L 12,000 yen). At the end of April, the store will collaborate with surf style brand BILLABONG to release T-shirts, hats, and mugs.
