Baycrew's will open a three-category multi-purpose shop in the "MARK IS Minato Mirai" shopping mall, opening June 21, under the "JOURNAL STANDARD" brand. While the company has previously operated two-category multi-purpose shops, this is its first shop offering all three categories: clothing, food, and shelter. The company aims to attract a wider customer base through the synergistic effects of each shop. The "JOURNAL STANDARD relume" fashion line is a separate line from its original "JOURNAL STANDARD" brand. Targeting an older generation, the brand offers basic American work casual items for men and women. Prices start at around 2,000 yen for T-shirts and 6,000-7,000 yen for pants, making them accessible to families. This spring/summer's new collection incorporates a marine-inspired aesthetic, featuring vibrant colors and numerous patterns. JOURNAL STANDARD Furniture, an interior design shop, offers furniture and miscellaneous goods with a "real vintage" theme, mixing vintage and modern designs. Original furniture items include a sofa custom-made by British brand HALO and a reclining sofa with interchangeable covers by nowartt, known for its eco-friendly textiles. The miscellaneous goods selection features a large number of blue-hued items, evoking the ocean in keeping with the port town of Minato Mirai. Other items include those sourced from Denmark and Belgium, as well as collaborations with Japanese apparel companies and artists. Exclusive to this store are striped notebooks and blue mugs, created in collaboration with Kakimori, a company that makes handmade notebooks using textiles sourced at French flea markets. J.S. Pancake Cafe also serves original pancakes. Unlike other stores, the menu offers a wide variety of meals and sweets. The interior is themed around a "lounge" style, with plenty of sofa seating to create a relaxing space.
