WORLD BREAKFAST ALLDAY, a cafe restaurant in Gaienmae, Tokyo, with the concept of "discovering the world through breakfast," will be offering a "Polish Breakfast" (1,500 yen) from February 6th to April 1st.

Poland is known as the Heart of Europe, a country located in the center of Europe that serves as a bridge between Eastern and Western Europe both geographically and culturally. Polish cuisine has been influenced by exotic Mongolian, Armenian, Lithuanian, Cossack, Hungarian, and Jewish cuisine, not to mention Russian, Italian, and French.

Poland is the number one producer of apples in Europe, and apples are not only eaten as they are, but are also used extensively in desserts and dishes. For breakfast, pancakes called "racuszki" containing apples are a staple. Also popular for breakfast are pancakes called "placki" made from potatoes and flour, which are so eaten that they can be considered a staple food in Poland.
