Banks, a popular restaurant for discerning adults from Shibuya, has teamed up with the creative unit bitween to host a special experiential projection mapping event, "Night Safari Restaurant “Banks cafe & dining Shibuya”," from January 30th to February 3rd.


The event allows visitors to experience a "Night Safari" in VR. Materials drawn by VR artist Yoshida Yoshimi are dynamically expressed using projection mapping. Lions, squirrel monkeys, zebras and other jungle animals are transformed into digital art and decorate the restaurant.

The restaurant is designed to immerse you in a real jungle, with mysterious animal sounds echoing from all directions, creating a unique atmosphere that you can enjoy from the moment you enter until the end of your meal.


To coincide with the event, Banks will also be offering its signature "Night Safari Course" (6,900 yen including tax). This dish features tender, mild-flavored kangaroo meat, a popular edible meat in Australia.

Dinner is available from 6:30 PM, 7:00 PM, and 7:30 PM, and is by reservation only (two-hour limit). From 9:00 PM, you can enjoy the "Night Safari Lounge" (safari charge: 1,200 yen including tax), where you can order drinks and snacks separately from the menu of the day.
