Loewe releases latest collectible book photographed by Imano Fumiko

For the Spring/Summer 2018 season, LOEWE will release its latest collectible book, "Publication #17," in collaboration with Japanese artist Fumiko Imano, limited to 1,200 copies.

Fumiko Imano primarily presents self-portraits through photography, video, and installation.

Filmed at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, the film takes inspiration from her "Twins" series and shows Fumiko Imano and model Saskia de Brauw playing fencing with baguettes and hiding in the shadows of sculptures in the gardens of UNESCO Headquarters, showcasing the carefree spirit of a French holiday with looks styled by Benjamin Bruno.

The unique worldview of Fumiko Imano's work complements Jonathan Anderson's Loewe Women's Spring/Summer 2018 collection.

The limited edition hardcover cloth binding, with art direction and design by M/M (Paris), comes with a special fold-out dust jacket featuring watercolors of the animals that appear in Imano Fumiko's 2014 art book, "I'm Hungry."

Each special book is hand-numbered and, although difficult to obtain, a digital version including an interview video with Imano Fumiko is available for free download from the iTunes Store by searching for "LOEWE."
