A limited-time chocolate stand using bean-to-bar chocolate opens in Omotesando, and a flagship store also opens in Daikanyama

HI-CACAO CHOCOLATE STAND, a chocolate stand featuring bean-to-bar chocolate, has been launched.

It will be available for a limited time from January 18th to February 4th, 2018, at the Omotesando Kiosk in front of the Omotesando intersection, with the flagship Daikanyama store opening on February 8th.


The bean-to-bar chocolate used is supplied by Dandelion Chocolate, the San Francisco-based company that sparked the bean-to-bar boom. From their carefully handmade single-origin chocolate, the cacao origins used to match the menu are selected. The lineup features addictive chocolate sweets with different textures, temperatures, and combinations of sweet and salty.

The Daikanyama store will sell the eat-in items "Fondant au Chocolat (Original/Mango/Raspberry)" (450 yen) and "Butterscotch Cocoa Sandwich (Plain/Berry)" (800 yen), as well as "Brownies (Cream Cheese & Orange/Butterscotch & Almond/Pomegranate & Mascarpone/Apricot & Ganache)" (from 180 yen), "Cocoa Soft Serve Ice Cream" (600 yen), "Chocolate Spread" (from 380 yen), and "Rocky Road" (from 250 yen).
