The Suzette Group, which handles brands such as Henri Charpentier, has launched Casaneo, a new brand of layered sweets created by the creator of mille crepes. The first store will open at Hankyu Umeda on January 17, 2018.
The brand's signature mille crepes were created in 1988 by chef Sekine Toshinari, inspired by lasagna, an Italian dish made with layered pasta and sauce. Nearly 30 years after their creation, they are a Japanese-born sweet that is still loved by many. At Casaneo, you can enjoy the ultimate taste of mille crepes, which have been made over 30 years.
